The whole purpose behind Miss Relay For Life is to support the American Cancer Society. At the American Cancer Society, we're on a mission to free the world from cancer. Until we do, we'll be funding and conducting research, sharing expert information, supporting patients, and spreading the word about prevention. All so you can live longer — and better.

CASSANDRA HUMBERT
DIRECTOR
Cassandra has been participating in the Onslow County Relay for Life since High School. With a daughter very involved in pageantry and knowing what a wonderful and caring group of people that are involved in pageants, she decided to combine two of her favorite things with the Miss Relay for Life of Onslow County fundraising pageant.
CLARISSA HUMBERT
Clarissa Humbert a mother and grandmother who values the importance of family and togetherness. The importance of togetherness and caring drove her to her initial association with Relay for Life. At that time there were many in her life that were diagnosed with some form of Cancer. She walked and participated in support of those people. She was introduced to the pageant world through her support of her niece in her competitions. When approached about the idea of creating this fundraiser and helping support this cause the decision was an easy one.
